Google Labs have launched Google SMS channels recently. And it has become a huge success specially in India soon after its inception.

Using Google channels, you can create your own channel and let people subscribe it. You can associate your blog feed with the channel such that as soon as you write a new entry in your blog your all subscribers will be sent an sms stating your new entry.

You can also send any text from the sms channel interface, if you wish to share something with your group.
