It is very improtant to cleanup your hard disk every now and then, especially the drive in which the windows operating system has been installed.

There are 2 major advantages of doing it:

  • Free memory space of the disk increases.
  • Speed up the operating system.

Follow the following steps to cleanup the hard drive:

  1. Open My Computer

  3. Right click on it and select Properties.
  4. Under the General tab, click Disk Cleanup button.
  5. Select the items to cleaned up in the Clean up window.
