It has been a proud moment not only for Raheja brothers, but for anyone and everyone who are associated with them in any way. Raheja brothers (Umesh and Yogesh) have won the Maruti Suzuki 7th Desert Storm 2009.

About the Race:

It was flagged off on February 17, 2009 at Delhi. The six-day rally had traversed approximately 2,600 km through the interiors of Rajasthan and along the Gujarat coastline before culminating at Udaipur in Rajasthan.

The Desert Storm, one of the toughest motor sports events in India, had taken the participants through uncharted territories in the Thar Desert, the rocky and uncertain Aravalli, and the slippery and white sands of the Rann of Kutch.

The route had taken the 170 strong rallyists through competitive and transport sections. The competitive section included tough, off-road terrain that had gravel, sand and rocks, while the transport section was run on normal inter-city roads.
