Walk-in Interviews at SAIL
SAIL is recruiting 200 Junior Managers in Engineering disciplines in E-1 grade through walk-in interviews to be held at four metro locations during 15-19 June 2009.
Interested eligible candidates may walk-in for interview with all the relevant documents
(Originals + one set of self attested photocopies). For discipline wise/other Details / clarifications
Scale of Pay: Rs.10750-4%-16750/- under revision w.e.f 1.1.2007 in Engineering disciplines through walk-in interviews to be held at four metro locations.
Eligibility Criteria
Age:
Born not earlier than May 1, 1979 (Upper age limit of 30 years is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates). Those domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir from 1.1.1980 to 31.12.1989 will be allowed 5 years relaxation in upper age limit.
Qualification:
B.Tech/M.Tech (with minimum 65% marks in B.Tech) from IITs/IT, BHU in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Metallurgy, Chemical, Computer Sc., Electronics & Telecom., Instrumentation, and Ceramics discipline and M. Tech in Environmental Engineering or equivalent from IITs/IT, BHU/ISMU, Dhanbad.
Experience:
At least one year working experience; preferably in Steel, Metallurgy, Refractory, Mining, Heavy Engineering, Cement or Construction industry of respectable scale.
Interested candidates fulfilling the above criteria may bring with them one passportsize photograph, all original documents regarding proof of age, academic and professional qualifications and experience and caste certificate (if applicable) along with one self-attested copy of the same as per schedule as under:

- All eligible candidates would be essentially required to register between 0830 hrs to 1030 hrs for appearing in the interview.
- Reservations will be provided for SC/ST/OBC and physically Handicapped Persons as per Presidential Directives.
- Management reserves the right to restrict the number of applicants for interview depending on the level of response, experience & academic record.
- Selected candidates may be posted to any location on an all India basis.
- No TA/DA etc. will be paid for appearing in these interviews.
- Candidates may be required to stay for one additional day depending on response.
