I just spent half an hour to correct my all websites. They were hacked by some hacker NobodyCoder.

Don’t believe me?? See the screen shot below what was being displayed when any of my website was being opened.

When I saw it first, I could believe it too. I thought it can happen when I was with Manashosting but with DreamHost how can this happen. They should have been more secured.

Hackers are always good as they don’t harm any of your data or pages. They just upload few files (default.htm, default.html, default.php, index.htm, index.html, index.php) so that when your site is opened, their page is displayed.

I although lost my wordpress index.php but not a major task for me to download it from wordpress.org and upload to my ftp server again.

I did all that and changed the FTP password immediately.

Let’s hope it doesn’t happen again as I have chosen a more difficult password this time but I don’t think it is because they hacked my ftp password but they hacked dreamhost server I guess. Don’t really know.

It’s up and running now.
