YouTube is planning to stop support for widely used and most stable browser Internet Explorer version 6.0 of Microsoft.

There are already new and latest versions of browsers available in the market and Internet Explorer has also gone up to IE8, hence You Tube is trying to concentrate on these new updated versions. They are suggesting to upgrade browsers to Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3.5 and Google chrome.

I personally think that You tube should not do this as of now as IE6 is still the mostly used browser in the world currently, and even if they do it, users like me would not immediately move to the newer versions, hence chances are You tube losing traffic.

They may have some plans, lets wait and watch.
