Today morning Google Notebook was not working for almost an hour. I know it is very rare that any Google service goes down but today is that rare of rarest day.

See following image, I was constantly getting the following error

“Server Error. The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds”

Even the Google Bookmarks were not getting displayed which is obvious due to the fact the bookmarks are stored in Google notebook. The outage started at around 11AM EST (when I noticed it, it may have started before that too).

Initially, I thought it may be because of the proxy, so I tried it on DownForEveryoneOrJustMe and same was the result.

The service resumed only after about an hour and then it worked smooth. A very rare day for Google.
