Windows From OS 1.0 to Windows 7
Just came across an awesome video showcasing Windows OS from its very inception.
25 years ago, Microsoft launched Windows 1.0 and since then a lot of things have changed in it but not the commitment that Microsoft owns towards its large base customers regarding the legacy compatibility. All versions of Windows have ensured the backward compatibility such that programs created on previous version work on the new and newer versions.
Andy in an experiment toured around every version of Windows from 1.0 to 7, in which he attempted to install Win1.0 on a machine and then upgrade through every version.
It’s an amazing experience and nostalgic too. See it yourself.
