KBC’s Revival : Awesome Ad Campaigning
Kaun Banega Crorepati or KBC the most sensationalized TV game show, started in year 2000, not only made common mam a millionaire but also revived the gone career of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Since then Mr. Bachchan has been on the top and also been given the Shahensha of Bollywood industry in 20th century.
KBC although went down in terms of popularity in its 2nd and 3rd version but came back strongly in the 4th series in the year 2010. This time they came with a planning and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan returned after Shahrukh Khan hosted the super flop 3rd series.
The credit goes to the planning, ad campaigning and the great persona of Mr. Bachchan.
In the 4th series in 2010 the importance was given to the questions in the ad campaigning where people laughing on some simple questions in the beginning but regretting when the same was asked on hot seat by Mr. Bachchan and later ridiculing saying “Koi sawal chota nahi hota“. In their latest 5th series, they are emphasizing on people in their ad campaigning saying “Koi bhi insaan chota nahi hota“.
Mind blowing concept and equally blowing implementation. Hats off.
