    On returning from Moon, Astronauts went through Customs

    Can you imagine, even astronauts after coming back from Moon in Apollo II had to declare to US customs that they have not brought anything from moon but Moon dust and moon rock samples.

    Yes, the matter goes back to 1969 when NASA had a successful and first lever landing on Moon and 3 of their scientists Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins on their return from moon to Earth on 24th July 1969 went through US customs.

    NASA has also confirmed it. Here’s the declaration form that they filled in and signed:
