It has always been damn inconvenient to access your Citibank online account using the 16 digit ATM/Debit card / Credit Card / Loan ID etc. But now Citibank is enhancing their website shortly to offer User ID based login, in place of the existing 16 digit ATM/Debit Card / Credit Card / Loan ID based login.

No more hassles of remembering our 16 digit card number or Loan ID. One single common User ID and IPIN to access Internet Banking, Mobile Banking and for online purchase authentications.

We would be able to login to Citibank Online from any computer with the same User ID, unlike the existing nickname feature which never seemed to work for me.

This feature will be added in the second week of July, and then onwards when we access Citibank Online, we will be guided to select a User ID of our choice through a simple process, so no action needed right now.

Please keep in mind that after this feature, we will be able to login to Citibank Online only with this new User ID.
