Only after couple of days, PayPal stopped electronic withdrawal in India, PayPal has now resumed the service.
According to their recent statement, they have said that it was really unfortunate to stop the service but now we can enjoy the electronic withdrawal in India without any hindrances.
They further added that they will continue to provide the $4 USD processing fee refund for cheque withdrawals until further notice.

After having a tug of war with Indian authorities, PayPal has finally ended the electronic withdrawal of funds directly to bank accounts in India. Now users of PayPal can only request for a cheque withdrawal of funds from their PayPal account starting 1st August 2010.
But the good part is that PayPal will not levy any charges for cheque withdrawal. It normally charges $5 as cheque withdrawal fee.

I faced an unusual battery issue with my iPhone 3G yesterday. I recently installed iPhone 4.0 on it, unlocked and jailbroke it too.
iOS4.0 has a feature (iOS3.0 also had it) wherein we can see the % battery remaining.
Yesterday, when my iPhone started showing me 8% battery remaining, I plugged it to power to recharge it and as soon as I did that, this device started showing me 72%. I was surprised to see that. Just to check, I removed the recharger and now the battery % settled for 63.

I raised similar issue with my Airtel broadband months ago when Delhi’s IP was identified as Calcutta now I am facing the same issue on Airtel GPRS.
Yesterday, I opened one of my site where I am using Feedjit and was astonished to see that my IP was logged as Oslo, the capital of Norway.
Although I was in Pune, a city in India, I was identified as if I was in Oslo.
It is definitely something related to dynamic IPs that Airtel use in its service both in broadband and gprs.

There seem to be some problem with iOS 4.0, which is restricting service providers to automatically update GPRS settings after the SIM card is inserted. It definitely worked with the previous versions of iPhone operating systems.
