    EPFO is planning to upgrade their online facilities to provide updated account statements on real time basis for all of their consumers across their all EPFO offices.At present, they provide annual PF account slips showing account details in a financial year or make it available online on request. The new feature would enable subscribers to see their updated accounts online and keep a copy of it by downloading it. Improtant thing to note is that the feature would be available only to live account.

    DreamHost has been, so called, forced to marginally increase the domain registration prices for .com and .net domains to $11.95 per year from June 15, 2013. Not sure how it would bother the majority as their are other domain registrars in the market offering these domains at a very less price. Nevertheless here’s the communication from them:Last year in January our domain provider, Verisign, hit us with a price increase for .com and .net registrations, with another increase coming in July.

    We generally use Torrent or dedicated download clients to download large files (movies, OS etc), so that large size files are downloaded conveniently with no impact of network failures in between. But sometimes we start downloading some large files within Google chrome. Although Google chrome has the option of pausing and resuming the downloads but it cannot resume the broken downloads. And if the download is 90% complete and network failure occurs for some reason then chrome alerts to relaunch.

    Google has now announced another spring cleaning of its various services, and this time the company is planning to end its Google Reader RSS aggregator. The service, which originally launched back in 2005, will be officially shut down on 1st July 2013. Google is offering users a way to export their Reader content, including lists of users that they follow and starred & liked articles. Google said, “usage of Google Reader has declined, and as a company we’re pouring all of our energy.
