I have just come across a tool using which you can SMS anywhere in the world and that too absolutely free. You don’t need to signup to use it and moreover there is no download.

KuripoTxt is a tool of mobshare.info that is providing the lightest and easiest to use interface to just SMS anwhere in the world.

You would need to enter the mobile number beginning with the country code. For e.g. To sms in India enter Mobile # as 919811234567 and similarly for US you need to enter 13031234567.

There is a pick in it which they too say in their disclaimer. It does not guarantee that the message is going to be delivered. If it is not then the service provider may not be supporting it.
