Income Tax Department has set the process for verification, search & checking PAN card Number details like Name of Person, Surname or Company Name, Area Code. PAN Card Details can be checked by anyone having PAN Card Number of a Individual, Partnership Firm, Trust, AOP, BOI or Company (Private or Public Ltd). 

You just need to have your PAN, here’s how you can do it.

1. Visit incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-Filing/Services/KnowYourJurisdiction.html
2. Key in your PAN and captcha code.
3. Click Submit to see following details:
   • PAN Card Number
   • Surname
   • Middle Name
   • First Name
   • Area Code
   • AO Type
   • Range Code
   • AO Number
   • Jurisdiction
   • Income Tax Office Address
