Camp Potters Hill is a place near Shimla (around 4-5 Kms) which offers fun with peace.

Their package for 3 days / 2 nights is Rs 6,999 plus taxes (10%). This includes your accomodation, all meals including morning & evening tea+snack & light cocktail snacks. It also includes all their camp activities – such as rappelling, rock climbing, terraline traverse (valley crossing), a burma bridge, rope balancing, a variety of guided treks in the jungle (from short 1 hour nature walks upto a 3-4 hour strenous trek to Chadwick Falls, a small waterfall in our property) also an exciting night trek through the jungle. In addition they have a bonfire in the evening & light music is also available if required.

Travel from Delhi have two best options – either by taxi, it is an 8 hour drive, or by train. There is a morning Shatabdi from Delhi which arrives in Kalka at 12 noon, also there is an overnight train, the Kalka Mail, which leaves Delhi at 10.30 pm & arrives in Kalka at 5 am. From Kalka to Shimla is a drive of 2 & a 1/2 hours & taxis are easily available. Additonally, good delux Volvo busses are also available, in the morning as well as in the evening.

You can read more about it at their website: http://www.camppottershill.com

The place is actually very nice to be for couples for 2, 3 days. Nice weather can make the trip a memorable one.

Everyone out there are very courteous and ready to  help. You will not face any kind of problems there. The will take care of you very well.

Everything is in the package so you will not be required to take anything extra, but in case you take anything apart from the package, they charge heavily on it. You can imagine a real fruite juice for 150 bucks is too much. But its okay to spend out your pocket for peace and relief from the fast metropolitan world.

Hope you too would love to be there.
