After having a successful release of Windows 7 worldwide, Microsoft is preparing the market for its new out of the box operating system Windows 8.

Microsoft revealed Windows 8 prototypes on ARM recently.

Below is the start menu screenshot of Windows 8. Doesn’t it look awesome and different. Internet Explorer 10 and many more advanced tools will be available with the new version of Windows 8.

The complete new features are listed below:

  • Live tiles with notifications, showing always up-to-date information from your apps.
  • Fast launching of apps from a tile-based Start screen, which replaces the Windows Start menu with a customizable, scalable full-screen view of apps.
  • Convenient ability to snap and resize an app to the side of the screen, so you can really multitask using the capabilities of Windows.
  • Fluid, natural switching between running apps.
  • Web-connected and Web-powered apps built using HTML5 and JavaScript that have access to the full power of the PC.
