You can now access a vast library of Creative Commons videos in YouTube to edit and incorporate into your own projects.

Creative Commons Licenses are several copyright licenses that allow the distribution of copyrighted works. Be it content, images, videos and rest.

To find a creative commons video, just search in the YouTube search bar or from within the YouTube Video Editor. Over 10,000 Creative Commons videos are available for your creative use.

So why and when do you need creative commons license videos?

At times, you may need some class work in terms of video clip perfectness in a particular area. For e.g. you are working on some jungle project where you need to include some high quality close-up video of Lion then would you want to go to any forest to shoot a clip? Of course not.  Better go to YouTube and search for a video for your need with the Creative Commons license, to be re-used.

Credit back the actual creator and reuse the video of your choice.

In case, you are a creator yourself then when adding a video just mark your uploaded video as Creative Commons video. And rest will be taken care by YouTube.

It definitely gonna increase the usage of quality videos by everyone.
