World-known Anonymous Hackers have turned their attention to India, taking down the websites of the MTNL Delhi and MTNL Mumbai after Government of India instructed all Internet Service Providers in India to block all torrent or file sharing sites like thepiratebay.se and bitsnoop.

Earlier, Anonymous Operations India also blocked the websites of Supreme Court, the country’s two major political parties and several government sites in retaliation for a court injunction which led to the blocking of several video sharing and bit torrent sites.

Taking down sites is a way of retaliating the Department of Telecom orders to all internet service providers to block all file sharing websites. They later tweeted: “We are not doing any permanent damage to the websites. We just want file sharing sites to be unblocked.”

Is it really the time for us to stand up and show that the corrupt government cannot stop us? At least Anonymous think so. Anna Hazare is also fighting this corrupt government for a social cause.

Here’s what Anonymous have to say to all Indians:
