Yes, now you can directly use your web cam to record and publish videos to Youtube.

See how easy and quick it is:

  • You will be asked to give permission to youtube to access your web camera. Select Allow and click close. You may select remember to make your browser save the option.

  • Now you are ready to record a video directly from your web cam. Click on Ready to Record button.

  • Keep recording it until you want. Click on Stop (red square) button to stop recording.

  • You have the option of previewing the video without publishing. Discarding it by clicking on Re-record and publishing it to the youtube community.

  • After you publish your video, you can change and save video information within minutes it will be ready to be viewed after youtube processing is completed.

That’s it. Now, no softwares are required to record video from web cam for youtube. Youtube will facilitate it for you.

Still, I have found that only 2 minutes 42 seconds  (sometimes 43) video is published and rest is discarded. I am not sure what the reason is. Video size is also not very high.

I have to do a little research to find out the cause, but you can comment if you already know it.
