Are you also fed up of people tagging you in some unwanted pics or posts on Facebook and those content start appearing in your timeline and your friends seeing them too? Sometimes they directly write on your timeline which might offend you or your friends.

Do you not want to control what should appear in your timeline and what not, after all it is your timeline and you should have authority over what appears in it.

Most of us are unaware that Facebook provides a feature wherein you can control the content appearing in your timeline.

• Navigate to Facebook Privacy Settings
• Click “Edit Settings” against “Timeline and Tagging”

• From the Settings window, select the best settings to avoid unwanted tagging and posting in your timeline and select Done.

E.g.

• Select “No One”, in “Who can post on your timeline?” to restrict everyone posting on your timeline.
• Enable “Review posts friends tag you in before they appear on your timeline“, if you don’t really want anything or everything to start appearing in your timeline without your permission.

Facebook changed their UI recently and now you can directly navigate to Facebook Timeline settings and change settings.
