Yet another super budget movie by a giant banner ‘Dharma Productions’ of Karan Johar.

Starring: Abhishek Bachchan, John Abrahim, Priyanka Chopra and Bobby Deol

It should only be seen in theaters. It would be unbearable on small screen. There are very few punches in the movie which makes you laugh and other than that it is only a normal time pass movie. Not very entertaining but in theaters it is okay to watch with friends. It is heavy in between especially after interval but sooner or later Abhishek gives some punches to lighten the mood. Like any other Karan Johar movie, it is completely shot outside India. A very ordinary presentation but better than his last movie Kabhi Alvida na Kehna.

The story actually tells you about 2 guys and a girl and their Dostana (friendship).

Abhishek and John are struggling in US and searching for a rental apartment and luckily they get one but since a girl is already living there so they show themselves as gays and in love with each other so that they can get the apartment easily.

Abhishek did brilliantly enacting a gay. He really looked like one 🙂

In the process of both enacting gays, Priyanka being their apartment partner, they all become best of friends. Gradually both actors start loving Priyanka but how to tell her was the problem. Priyanka is still thinking that they both are gay.

Kiran Kher playing Abhishek’s mom justified her small presence, but she could have done more if given chance. Boman Irani was also brilliant in his small act of another gay and Prianka’s boss.

While both actors are unable to reveal their truth and start pulling each others legs, and impress her ,a third guy, Bobby Deol, comes and steals Priyanka’s hearts. Both Abhishek and John try their best to get Bobby and Priyanka separated but do not succeed. And that’s the ending.

Before interval, the movie is still okay but after interval it gets heavier and heavier. The kissing scene of Abhishek and John is simply an eye catching scene.

Songs are again ordinary. It is simply far from the previous bests of Karan Johar like Kuch kuch hota hai and Kabhi khushi kabhi gam.

A one timer movie and not to be remember after coming out of the theater.

My rating to the movie – 4/10
